Hiroshi Yamazaki is a captivating jazz pianist, hailing from Japan with a Bachelor of Music degree from Osaka College of Music. Currently, Hiroshi is a faculty member at the Music Conservatory of Westchester where he shares his knowledge and passion for music with the next generation of musicians
At the age of 22, Yamazaki dazzled audiences with his prodigious talent, delivering his first professional jazz performance at the prestigious S.A.B. Hall in Osaka. Following his graduation, he made the bold move to the cultural capital of the world, New York City, to hone his craft under the tutelage of the legendary pianist Buddy Montgomery. 
Yamazaki's journey has been one of constant evolution, with his unique style as an improviser and composer drawing from a myriad of influences. His music is a reflection of his experiences and life, with every note telling a story. A true master of his craft, Yamazaki's performances are a testament to his passion and dedication to the art of jazz.
In 1988, Yamazaki marked his inaugural performance in New York City at the Jazz Center of New York. During this engagement, he shared the stage with renowned bassist, Paul West, and acclaimed drummer, Leroy Williams. Since then, Yamazaki has graced some of the most esteemed jazz venues in New York City, including the Village Gate, Bluenote, and Birdland, among others. 
In 1996, Yamazaki released his debut recording, Sketch Of Bridge, on the JazzAtrea label. This impressive debut featured the legendary Ron Carter on bass and the incomparable Lewis Nash on drums. Four years later, in 2000, Yamazaki released his second album, We May Say Love, further cementing his reputation as a virtuosic performer and composer in the world of jazz.
